Request for Qualifications
The MASSACHUSETTS PORT AUTHORITY is soliciting professional services for MPA CONTRACT NO. M337-D1, WIND TECHNOLOGY TESTING CENTER, CHARLESTOWN, MA. The Authority is undertaking the management of this contract as agent for and in collaboration with the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC). The Authority is seeking a talented and experienced consultant team to provide program definition and design services which preferably includes experience in the planning and design of wind blade testing or similar types of structural testing facilities. The Consultant shall demonstrate an expertise in the following disciplines including architectural, structural, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, geotechnical, civil, environmental management and permitting, marine engineering and sustainable design. This facility shall be designed to meet LEED Plus requirements and the requisite expertise shall be required. The Authority and MTC are considering a construction management at risk delivery method for the project. The Consultant must be able to work closely with the Authority, MTC and other interested parties in order to provide such services in a timely and effective manner.
