The Clean Energy Tour: Boston to the Berkshires was one of the Trust’s largest outreach efforts to raise awareness and educate the public on renewable energy technologies.
The Tour included:
- Workshops
- Educational exhibits and demonstrations
- Booths for renewable energy businesses and nonprofit organizations
- Hands-on activities for children
The focus was on solar, wind, and biomass technologies, but information was provided on all forms of clean energy, including energy efficiency. Locations included the New England Aquarium, the Lowell Folk Festival, the Barnstable County Fair, the Brockton Brightfield Project, and the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.
