| Project Overview: |
| Minuteman Wind, LLC is developing a commercial wind facility in Savoy, MA on a promontory known as West Hill. The site consists of approximately 293 acres, is wooded in mixed hardwoods and softwoods, and is being logged commercially by the owner. The proposed wind power project will employ five 2.5 MW turbines for a total rated output of 12.5 MW. Minuteman is using a pre-development financing loan from MTC for site planning and project design, environmental assessment and permitting, detailed wind resource assessment, interconnection planning, and public outreach. |
