‘The Robot Online Mall’ Grand Opening Ceremony, Robotics Technology Road Show, & Discussion
MassTech is supporting an upcoming event in Cambridge which promotes international exchange in robotics. This event, sponsored by The Robot Enterprise Promotion Association (REPA) and Korean Delegation, will feature the grand opening ceremony of ‘The Robot Online Mall’, a robotics technology road show featuring U.S. and Korean innovations, and a panel discussion.
The event takes place at the IBM Cambridge Innovation Center during National Robotics Week. It builds off of the 2012 Memorandum of Understanding between Mass TLC (Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council) and the Robot Enterprise Promotion Association, a document which “fostered interest and increased business development opportunities in the Robotics Sector.” Update: This event was held on April 8, 2014.
Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership Program

The Solicitation implemented the framework of the Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership program and has evolved from the Memorandum of Understanding which was signed in 2012 between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Israel, aimed to promote greater R&D collaborations among companies in the two jurisdictions. Update: This solicitation closed in December 2013.
International Strategy Report
Working in partnership with public, private and academic sectors, MassTech crafted an international strategy for the Commonwealth to reap the benefits of cross-border collaborations. The report, An International Strategy for Massachusetts, provides a clear, detailed blueprint for creating new jobs and stimulating economic growth through increased international trade and investment.
The Strategy reviews the state’s assets, obstacles, and competition from other states. The report affirms Massachusetts’ stature as a global leader in several areas with a world-renowned life sciences industry, world-class academic institutions and research centers, and leading clean technology and alternative energy standards. The Strategy predicates future success on increased interagency collaboration and state interaction with universities and business communities on international economic activities.
