The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative is issuing this Request for Proposals (No. 2010-JAII-01) to solicit responses from firms and organizations capable of combining urban revitalization and innovation-based economic development strategies for the purpose of shaping and guiding public and private sector investments during a five-ten year period. MTC intends to select a firm to develop strategies (i) to support the establishment of an Innovation District within the City of Holyoke and (ii) to leverage the presence of that Innovation District for the explicit purpose of catalyzing business formation and job creation in Holyoke and throughout the Pioneer Valley.
