Municipal Light Plant Towns
Some towns in Massachusetts have municipal light plants; therefore, do not pay a renewable energy fee in their electric bill every month. This makes obtaining funding and assistance from us more difficult, and sometimes impossible, for them. The following is a list of towns with municipal light plants.
